33 year old female has had two children. She began living a healthy lifestyle through dieting and exercise, resulting in significant weight loss. Unfortunately, with the weight loss, she noticed her skin became flaccid and developed recurrent irritation and skin breakdown between the skin folds of the lower abdominal region. A panniculectomy was performed, and her skin irritation resolved. She is shown three months after her procedure. Over time the scars will fade and become imperceptible.
