Patient Information

56 year old patient that had injured a tendon in her ankle. A foot surgeon fixed her tendon, unfortunately the wound from that surgery did not heal.  Over several months multiple interventions were used in hopes of healing the wound. Unfortunately, none worked.  The patient was taken to surgery where movement of tissue with a skin graft was used to treat her problem. Her postoperative course was uneventful, and she returned to her normal activities. She is shown three months after closing her wound.
