57 year old with multiple medical conditions. The patient had a virtual consultation with a surgeon in another part of the country. She eventually traveled to that state, where she met the surgeon on the day of surgery and underwent an abdominoplasty, liposuction of her back, and fat transfer to her buttocks. 1 week after returning to San Antonio, she developed a fever, several wound infections, and an open wound. Eventually, she underwent several operations to clean out the wound, clear the infections, and close the wounds.
